Dear Delegates, Faculty Advisors, and members of the BIMUN community,
I warmly welcome you to the official website of the Babcock International Model United Nations 2018 (BIMUN’18)!


The theme for the 2nd Session of BIMUN conference is Addressing Climate Change-Induced Conflict: A Roadmap for Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
Date: July 8 – 13, 2018.


We are proud to work and have worked with a wide variety of sponsors, and we would like to invite your organization including other sister MUN conferences to join us as a partner for the upcoming year.

Who We Are

BIMUN is a national initiative of young leaders to engage and energize young supporters around the work of the United Nations. It is the first Model United Nations in Nigeria organized by a private university and it is an internationally diverse Model United Nations Conference.

BIMUN empowers a new generation of young Africans to be leaders in helping the United Nations build a better world for all. Through an international network with over 54 African Countries, BIMUN facilitates youth engagement, advocacy efforts, education programs, and public events for African youths.



To foster the ideals of a better world, encourage leadership, embrace global mindsets and give students a chance to take a stand in fostering world peace.

BIMUN is the first International Model United Nations to be hosted by a private University in Nigeria, Babcock University. BIMUN is the first MUN in West Africa to simulate the International Court of Justice Committee.
